Our Story

From media expertise to through-the-line impact

We started in 2016 on a simple belief: marketing should do more than occupy media space. It should connect the right audiences to the right message, and create value the business can actually see.

Our roots are in traditional media. We grew with the shift to digital. Today, media strategy, creative, performance, brand activation and specialist retail and shopper expertise sit under one roof — working across retail, aviation, telecommunications, FMCG, education, financial services, development finance and the public sector.

Every sector is different. The method isn't: understand the objective, find the opportunity, build work that moves people to act. Clients don't appoint us as a supplier — they get a partner-led extension of their team, with senior people involved from strategy through to reporting.

Msizi Mazibuko is the visionary founder of The Media Tacticians, an agency built on innovation, inclusivity, and measurable impact. With senior leadership roles at SABC, Media24, Power FM amongst a variety of other media and marketing entities, Msizi has spearheaded strategies that raised over R2 billion in revenue, cementing her reputation as a powerhouse in the media and marketing industry.

She leads the agency's strategic direction and client partnerships, and shaped TMT into the integrated business it is today.

Beyond business, Msizi champions youth empowerment and inclusivity, positioning the agency as a vessel of hope for disadvantaged communities through the company’s foundation. Her leadership style harmonizes creativity, strategy, and purpose, making The Media Tacticians not just an agency, but a movement.

Lindiwe brings more than a decade in client service and campaign management across financial services, public sector, telecommunications, retail and development-focused organisations.

She works between clients and delivery teams — managing workflows, coordinating resources and keeping execution aligned to what the client set out to achieve.
